Mike,
My brother married a Queens girl. Now lives in Floral Park on Long Island.
The car ride takes 7.5 hrs door to door. By the time you hit the NY/US border at 1000 islands bridge, it's only 1.5 hr drive into the city of Ottawa.
If you get on the road early enough, you could get her midday, just in time for an evening fish then wake up the following day to a full days shooting. 2 days if you want to shoot on a variety of lakes and rivers.
you'll may have to cut the perverbial cord on senko usage and be open to using other lure presentations but I'm positive we can get a shows worth of video done. LOL
