New York, NY – July 1, 2008 — Rockville Pictures Inc. announced today that their popular fishing program, “Lunkerville”, is now airing in high-definition on DISH Network via WFN HD, North America’s only 24-hour fishing network.

“We began shooting Lunkerville in high-definition video recently and the timing of WFN’s carriage agreement with DISH Network coincides perfectly with our production schedule,” noted Shannon Goldman, Producer of Lunkerville. “This is great news for Lunkerville fans and viewers of fishing shows in general. WFN has done an amazing job getting the top shows, expanding its viewer base, and now, launching an HD broadcast before many of the other outdoor networks.”

“Lunkerville is like no other show we currently air,” contends Corey Russell, Vice President, Programming & Production for WFN. “We really like how it features the everyday bass angler and viewers have responded so well to Mike D’s laid-back style and outgoing personality. It’s a true original that’s as entertaining as it is informative. Lunkerville adds major value to our current lineup of popular fishing shows.”.

About Lunkerville

Four years ago, Indie film director Michael de Avila hooked his passion for storytelling onto his love of bass fishing to spawn “Lunkerville”, a weekly fishing show that shuns fast-paced, pro tournament competition in favor of “real people with real fish stories.” “I always wanted to fish with everyday, recreational bass fishermen,” explains de Avila, “get to know their stories, travel to their secret spots and learn their own special techniques.” Each week, host “Mike D” uses his compelling charisma and signature laid-back manner to reel in the camaraderie, the banter and the bass. And fans can’t seem to get enough. The program was voted “Favorite Fishing Show” three years in a row by viewers of The Sportsman Channel. Lunkerville is a production of Rockville Pictures, Inc.
